Donna F. Bowker

Donna F. Bowker, 84, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away at 6:35 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2017 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Donna was born on January 7, 1933 in Warsaw, Indiana to Roy and Oda (Kring) Garman. On May 26, 1951, she married Charles "Chuck" Bowker, Sr., who preceded her in death on February 23, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Sayre. Donna is survived by one daughter, Melloday A. (Joseph) Hakes of LaPorte, IN; one son, Charles O. (Linda) Bowker, Jr. of Laporte, IN; one son-in-law, Larry Sayre of Travelers Rest, SC; seven grandchildren, Sam (Tamara) Colalillo, Jr., Tony Colalillo, Andrea (Phil) Jenkins, Scott (Wendy) Hakes, Jamie (Sam) Brown, Erika Smith, and Nate (Michelle) Bowker; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., E.S.T. Thursday, August 17, 2017 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert St., New Carlisle, IN. A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m., E.S.T. Thursday in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Carlisle Cemetery.
