Marjorie L. Dozer, 66, of LaPorte, IN, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at 11:55 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Miller's Merry Manor in New Carlisle, IN.

Marjorie was born on January 8, 1951 to the late Earl M. and Patricia L. (Milligan) Max in Cambridge, OH. She lived in Kimbolton, OH before moving to Altus, OK in (2005), and then moved to LaPorte, IN in 2013. Along with her parents; she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry E. Dozer; a grandson, Jeremy Rathburn, and her step daughter, Kathy Leggett.

On October 16, 1976, she married Jerry E. Dozer in Kimbolton, OH. He passed away on November 9, 2002.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Thomas, Sr.) Glosser of LaPorte, IN; a step daughter, Julie (Mike) Kouns of Lancaster, OH; her son, Thomas Dozer of Medina, OH; four grandchildren, Cailyn; Shauni; Tommy (Ashley); and Alex; three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn; Zoey; and Skyelyn; and her sister, Linda (Henry) Bradford of Kimbolton, OH.

Marjorie was a member of Great Faith Baptist Church in Michigan City, IN; and a member of the Red Hat Society, where she served as past president when she lived in Altus, OK as well as the Resident Council Vice President at Millers Merry Manor. Before her accident that left her paralyzed, she loved her church and going to Jolly 60's as well as playing Euchre at the Michigan City Senior Center. She was also a member of the Cambridge High School Class of 1969. Marge was known for her contagious smile and optimistic spirit no matter what circumstances life presented her.

Private graveside services will be held at Flat Ridge Cemetery in Kimbolton, OH, with Pastor Paul Richardson officiating. Burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Hospice, 2515 N. Bendix Drive, Suite 103, South Bend, IN 46628.
