Keith D. Foley, 51, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 10:52 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, IN, following a courageous battle with Leukemia.

He was born on December 27, 1965 to the late Hansel “Doctor H.O.” and Peggy (Anderson) Foley in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident. 

Keith graduated in 1984 from Clay High School.  He then attended Indiana University South Bend, where he received a Bachelor Degree in Middle School Education in 1989 and a Master’s Degree in Education in 1998.

He was employed at Corpus Christi Catholic School in South Bend, IN, where he was the Assistant Principal for the last eight years.   Prior to that, he was a Teacher at St. Jude Catholic School in South Bend, IN for seven years.

On July 1, 1989, he married Teresa G. Coates at Southside Baptist Church in South Bend, IN.

Keith is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Teresa G. Foley of South Bend, IN; three brothers, Doug (Rachel) Foley of Fishers, IN; Kurt (Nancy) Foley of Fishers, IN; Ian (Federica) Foley of San Diego, CA; two nieces, Kendall and Jenna Foley; both of Fishers, IN; and two nephews, Nick Foley of Fishers, IN; and Ed Foley of San Diego, CA. 

Keith loved boating and spending time at his boat in New Buffalo, MI.  He enjoyed playing Euchre and visiting the casinos to play Black Jack.  He was an avid Notre Dame fan, especially football and basketball. 

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2017 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, South Bend, IN, with Rev. Daryl Rybicki officiating.  Cremation will follow.
