Mara, Mike, and family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolence to your great loss.
Joan and I met sometimes for lunch or tea and reminisced of our mutual friend, Maritza.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
May she rest in peace.

Our sympathy and condolences to all of Joan's family. Joan was the most thoughtful neighbor. One memory is waking on Easter every year to find a large chocolate egg for our children. It is hard to imagine the neighborhood without her. We will miss her. Our hearts go out to you in this difficult time.

Mike, Mara and families,
Visiting your mom was the highlight of my trips to South Bend. Her kindness and warmth was second to no one. I always felt like I was coming home. Through her I could learn the comings and goings of you all. She was my South Bend mom who I will forever miss. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Mike and Mara and family,

Your mother was a remarkable, strong and beautiful person that I so admired. I felt honored to be her friend. She will forever have a special place in my heart. Though I miss her so, I have such wonderful memories of our time together. My deepest sympathy to you during this difficult time.
