Obituary

William “Bill” C. Davenport, Jr. of Edwardsburg, MI, passed to his rest on September 3rd, 2023, in his home after an illness. He was born on June 7th, 1959, in Battle Creek, MI. Bill is the son of William Carl Sr. and June D. (Sherman) Davenport who preceded him in death, along with his wife Rhonda and niece Stacy Davenport (Fristoe).

Bill has lived in the Michiana area most of his life. He enjoyed music, especially the Grateful Dead, and living his life his way. He is survived by: daughter Nikki Butts, grandson Ashton, stepmother Sandy Davenport, sisters Jan Davenport and Karla Davenport, stepbrothers Joe Braunsdorf and John Braunsdorf, nieces Salena Gratzol and Carissa Gratzol, and girlfriend Valerie Pennell.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 10th, 2023 from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm at Kaniewski Funeral Home located 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend, IN.
