Theresa Maria Hickey

Theresa Maria Hickey, 86, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 4:07 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2025, in Memorial Hospital.  Theresa was born on November 16, 1938 in South Bend, Indiana to Albin and Valentine (Pendzinski) Niezgodzki.  She retired from the Martin’s Store #10 where she was employed as a cashier for 10 years.  She was to married Jon Richard Hickey who preceded her in death on February 8, 2003.  She was also preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Mary Alice Niezgodzki.  Theresa is survived by her daughter, Julie Hickey of South Bend, Indiana; her son, Jon Hickey of South Bend, Indiana; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; her brother, Donald Niezgodzki of South Bend, Indiana; and by several nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date.  Theresa was a 1957 graduate of South Bend Central High School and a was volunteer for Busy Hands.  Memorial Contributions should be directed to Hospice.
