Theresa Helen Eberhardt

Theresa Helen Eberhardt, 73, of Knox, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at the Raclin House in Mishawaka, Indiana. She was born on August 19, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Otis and Carmella (Dinardo) Cross, Sr. Theresa is survived by two sons, Shawn (Lisa) Eberhardt of New Carlisle, Indiana and Jason (Bridget) Eberhardt of Knox, Indiana, four grandchildren, Katelyn (Josh), Emily, Madison and Neelie, one great granddaughter, Lucia Nieto, one sister, Lizzie (Joe) Krettler of Springville, Tennessee, two brothers, Otis (Debbie) Cross, Jr. of Knox, Indiana and Peter Cross of Knox, Indiana.

Throughout her life, Theresa was known for a strong heart, kind spirit, and unwavering devotion to family. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with children, relatives, and friends. Theresa was deeply proud of the family she helped build and the values of love, loyalty, and hard work that were passed down through generations.

Theresa's legacy will continue through the family she treasured so deeply, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A Catholic Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN from 6:30 pm EDT until 7:00 pm EDT. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm EDT until 6:30 pm EDT in the funeral home prior to the service.
