Teresa Caffrey Wade

Teresa Joan Wade, 67, of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Friday January 10, 2025. She was born on April 26, 1957 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Edward and Sally (Miliman) Caffrey. On June 19, 2004 she married Steven Joseph Wade who survives. Teresa is also survived by one sister, Dawn (David) Mark of Stevensville, Michigan, one brother, Michael (Julie) Caffrey of Elkhart, Indiana and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one sister Kathleen Vosteen.

Miss Terri was a pre-school teacher for much of her career. She worked at The Learning Tree in Bristol, Growing Kids in South Bend, and Wee Care in New Carlisle.   She also worked for the Elkhart County Health Department.   Her last job was her favorite.   This was babysitting and building special relationships with the family of Joe and Carin Mitchell of New Carlisle.
