Tamara Marie (Lies) Taberski

Tamara Marie Taberski, 58, of North Liberty, IN, passed away unexpectedly at Memorial Hospital of South Bend at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

She was born on March 16, 1966 in South Bend, IN, and has lived in North Liberty, IN since 2004, after moving back from Aberdeen, SD. 

Tami graduated in 1984 from St. Joseph High School in South Bend, IN.  She was currently employed since 2019 at Potato Creek State Park in North Liberty, IN.

Tami was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Snyder; and her parents, Anthony Lies and Phyllis Marie (Dillion) Kinzie.

On June 20, 1996, as Tamara Marie Lies, she married Randy J. Taberski in Aberdeen, SD.  Tamara is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Randy J. Taberski of North Liberty, IN; one daughter, Heather Kraus of Mishawaka, IN; one son, James Kraus of South Bend, IN; four grandchildren, Aubree, Christopher, Ellie, and Jaxson Kraus; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Stacie Taberski of North Liberty, IN. 

Tami was a wonderful, forgiving, caring, and thoughtful wife, mother, and our best friend.  She was Randy’s soulmate.  Tami was the most amazing and strongest lady ever.  She was the sweetest and had the biggest heart.  However, she would lay down the law when it was warranted.  Tami loved her pets and would help and save as many as she could.  Tami was our everything and we will love her always.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
