Shirley A. (Kendziorski) Perry, 66, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 8:25 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 in Ernestine M. Raclin Hospice House-Center for Hospice Care, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born on November 19, 1954 to the late Joseph, Jr. and Theresa (Puzynski) Kendziorski in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong area resident. Along with her parents; she was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Chrapliwy; and three brothers, Walter, Ronald, and Lawrence Chrapliwy.
Shirley retired in 2019 from Siemans/Bayer Medical Solutions in Mishawaka, IN, after several years of employment. Prior to that, she worked at Uniroyal in Mishawaka, IN until they closed in 1997.
Shirley is survived by her two sons, Ryan (Tiffany) Perry of Osceola, IN; Sean (Melissa) Perry of South Bend, IN; four grandchildren, Caitlyn (Jared) Coller; Madison Perry; Ceezar Perry; Breanna Perry; and four sisters, Rebecca (Pete) Mayfield of Edwardsburg, MI; Joann Miller of Bristol, IN; Vicki Price of Elkhart, IN; and Sandra Morrissey of Buena Park, CA.
Shirley loved traveling, walking in her neighborhood daily, taking bike rides and going to the beach. Shirley also liked caring for her flowers. She enjoyed watching Shark Tank and the Big Bang Theory (because of Sheldon). She was kind and would do anything for anybody and for those reasons she was loved by many. She was a good ear if you needed to talk, but would also make you listen if there was something you needed to hear. She will be missed more than these few words can ever convey.
