Sandra L. Eberhart

Sandra L. Eberhart, 74, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 9:41 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026, in her home. Sandra was born on May 20, 1951 in South Bend, Indiana to Ervin Oscar Crose and Mary (Queen) Crose and was a lifelong resident.  She had been employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at local Home Care companies for eight years.  On October 6, 1979 in South Bend, she married Michael L. Eberhart, who survives. Sandra is also survived by her daughter, Heather (Eberhart) Butkera-Siwik of South Bend, Indiana; one grandson, Aidan Butkera; and her half-sister, Sherry (Ron) Shail of Ohio.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Mary Crose; and her sister, Susan Karkiewicz.  Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m.  Wednesday, April 8, 2026 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana.  A visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.  Sandra enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and her dog, Winnie.  She was a huge Chicago Cubs fan. Memorial Contributions should be directed to the Blood Cancer United, formerly known as Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
