Roger E. Milcoff, 77, of LaPorte, IN, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Franciscan Health in Michigan City, IN.  He was born on August 3, 1944, in Dubuque, IA, to the late Christo and Elizabeth (Gulyash) Milcoff.  He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Nathan Blount and seven siblings.  He is survived by his three daughters; Denise Geary of Michigan City, Tammie Collingsworth of FL and Vickie Gill of Michigan City, a son, Tommie Geary of Portage, IN, and five siblings; Richard (Mary) Milcoff of Titusville, FL, Gloria (Ron) Young of Elkhart, IN, Charles (Shirley) Milcoff of Titusville, FL , Ruth (Gene) Skwiat of LaPorte, IN and Ronald Milcoff of Michigan City.  Roger worked as a Millwright for Bethlehem Steel.  He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran and enjoyed being a race car driver at the South Bend Motor Speedway and Plymouth and New Paris Speedways.  We are heart broke by the loss of a wonderful father, amazing grandfather and loving great-grandfather.  Rog was the most loving, patient and caring man.  I imagine he is dancing with Mom in heaven.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 10 to noon CST at The Door Church, 905 W 22nd St., LaPorte, IN.  A funeral service for Roger will follow at noon CST in the church, with burial to follow in New Carlisle Cemetery, New Carlisle, IN.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Social and Learning Institute, 201 E.
