Rhonda D. Carlson

Rhonda D. Carlson, 64, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in her home.  Rhonda was born on September 8, 1961 in South Bend to Richard Leon Carlson, Sr. and Carolyn Ann (Lootens) Carlson.  She had been employed as a Cook at the former Tom’s Restaurant in South Bend.  Rhonda is survived by her son, Michael Carlson and her brother, Richard “Rick” Carlson both of South Bend, Indiana.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Paul Billey; and her brother, Bryon Carlson.  To honor Rhonda’s wishes, there will be no visitation. She will cremated and buried at Highland Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.  Rhonda enjoyed taking care her son and visiting on her porch with her neighbors.  Memorial Contributions should be directed to Logan Center or Pet Refuge.  Kaniewski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
