Peggy Lee (Donathen) Patton, 79, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, November 24, 2022, in the Raclin House. Peggy Lee was born on February 6, 1943 in South Bend, Indiana to LaRue Donathen and G. Lucille (Howell) Anderson Donathen. She grew up in the North Liberty/Potato Creek area and lived in South Bend, Chicago and Whiting, Indiana. She was a 1962 graduate of North Liberty High School. Peggy Lee had been employed with Torrington Bearing Company Headquarters in South Bend. She then worked in Chicago, Illinois for Time Inc. Production Office, Merrill Lynch, Conti Commodity (Continental Grain), Prudential Securities and then worked at Memorial Hospital in South Bend for 14 years. She is survived by her brother, David Christian Donathen of South Bend, Indiana; her nephew, Scott Donathen (Melissa Clark); one great-nephew, Aiden Donathen; and two great-nieces, Lilly and Calla Donathen all of Ashton, Idaho. Peggy Lee was preceded in death by her parents, LaRue and Lucille Donathen; and two sisters, Lucy Diane Clady (Bill Stranz-surviving) and Beth Elaine Donathen. Private burial will take place in Porter Rae Cemetery, North Liberty, Indiana. Peggy Lee was a lifetime member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church in South Bend, Indiana.
