Patricia A. "Patty" (Cencelewski) Dunn

Patricia A. “Patty” Dunn, 73, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 11:06 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2025 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN.

She was born on April 28, 1952 to the late Joseph and Alfreda (Bonczynski) Cencelewski in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong area resident. Along with her parents; she was preceded in death by one daughter, Dawn Skarbek; one son, Jamie Skarbek; a sister, Darlene Lisek; and a brother, Ronald Cencelewski.

Patty graduated in 1970 from LaSalle High School.  She retired in 2014 from the Indiana Department of Revenue, where she worked as an Assistant Manager for 18 years.

On September 5, 1987, as Patricia A. “Patty” Cencelewski, she married Dallas Dunn in South Bend, IN. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Dallas Dunn of South Bend, IN; one step daughter, Dara Jean Lloyd of South Bend, IN; one step son, Dallas J. (Chris) Dunn of South Bend, IN; her grandson, Eric Clay Dunn of South Bend, IN; a sister, Sharon (Paul) Rozewicz of The Colony, TX; and a brother, Robert (Sandy) Cencelewski of Kingman, AZ.

Patty was an animal lover, and especially loved dogs. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in their RV to Arizona for the winters.

Per Patty’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
