Patricia K. Bittner-Cress

Patricia K. Bittner-Cress, 79, of South Bend passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022. She was born on May 10, 1943 in Bunker Hill, Indiana to the late Clayson and Wilma (Mort) Kinzie. In 1964 she married Robert E. Bittner, who preceded her in death on May 16, 1992. She would later marry Joseph John Cress. Patricia is also survived by four sons, Robert (Sharon) Bittner of South Bend, Indiana, Brian (Laura) Bittner of West Lafayette, Indiana, Damon (Donna) Bittner of Granger, Indiana, Michael (Lorrie) Bittner of Cabot, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Megan (Michael) DeMik, Danni Williamson, Shane Bittner, Zach Bittner, Emily (Johnny) Jay, Katie (Brennan) Perez, Gabby Bittner, Julia Bittner and Alec Bittner; nine great-grandchildren, Brayden, Tristan, Camden, Blake, Maisyn, Jocelyn, Maddox, Jackson, Jovie; five sisters, Ruby, Dulcena, Carol, Wilma Jo and Betty; and one brother, Donald. Patricia was also preceded in death by one brother, Herman.

She loved to sew, bowl and when she was younger would square dance. A visitation for Patricia will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend, IN. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
