Pamela A. Davidson Obituary

Pamela Davidson, born January 18, 1950, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to Ruth and Louis Seaman, passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 9, 2024. Pamela, known affectionately as Pam, was a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished friend. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1968.

Pamela was a dedicated mother to her two daughters, Amanda Davidson-Melton of Mishawaka and Courtney Dzuris (Davidson) of Niles. She found immense joy and purpose in her role as a grandmother, lovingly known as Grammy Pammy and Booga to her six grandchildren: Vaughn, Donivan, Villeahna, Draven, Adela, and Mira. Pam was deeply devoted to her family, always ready to put their needs above her own. Her love for her family was matched by her passion for cooking, baking, spending time outdoors, and enjoying the beauty of Lake Michigan.

Throughout her life, Pam was an enthusiastic participant in community activities, from frequenting garage sales to working at Martin’s Supermarket in the Starbucks and bakery departments. Her work ethic was unwavering, and she continued to contribute to her workplace up until her passing.

Pamela is remembered for her feisty spirit, determination, humor, intelligence, tenacity, and humility. Her exuberant life and the joy she brought to those around her are truly beyond words. She will be known for her fierce generosity.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Earl Seaman and Ruth Louise (Burns) Seaman, and her brother, Robert Seaman. She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Davidson-Melton and Courtney Dzuris; her sister, Sandra (Ronald) Blasy; her brother, Richard (Gail) Seaman; her six beloved grandchildren; Vaughn, Donivan, Villeahna, Draven, Adela and Mira and many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her fur grandbabies; Pixie, Mabel and Aurora.

Pamela Davidson’s legacy of love and dedication to her family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
