New Carlisle, IN - Mildred Ann Steely, 92 of South Bend Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Hamiliton Grove in New Carlisle, IN.

Millie was born on October 3, 1929 to the late Herbert and Mary Rhodes of Elkhart. Millie lived the majority of her life on Eastmont Dr. in South Bend, Indiana.

On June 23, 1962 she married Earl Steely who preceded her in passing after 43 years of marriage on September 7, 2005.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and David Rhodes, a sister, Ruby Bearss and 2 children, Danny and Marcella.

She is survived by her sister, Etta (Tom) Obringer and 4 children, Pat Sparks, Herbert (Mary) Steely, Pam (Tom) Voreis, and Melody (Tracy) Terkos, 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to "Heartland Hospice" in Mishawaka, IN.
