Michael Ross Cannon

Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Michael Ross Cannon, 70, of South Bend, Indiana passed away surrounded by his family on November 14, 2023 at his home, after a courageous battle with ALS.  Michael was born on June 10, 1953, to the late Richard and Barbara (Baker) Cannon in David City, Nebraska.  After graduating high school from Overseas School of Rome in 1971, he went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech Aerospace Engineering in 1976 and his MBA in finance from Northwestern University in 1979 and later got his CPA.  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Jodi of 43 years: his children, Eric (Sharilyn) Cannon of Westin, Florida and Philip (Sarah) Cannon of Park Ridge, Illinois; grandchildren, Ava, Lincoln, Bennett and Molly; brother, Tom (Collen) of Fairfax, Virginia; and sister Susan Darnell of Ashburn, Virginia.  The family would like to thank Harmony Hospice for their loving care during a difficult time.  Michael will be buried in Minden Cemetery, Minden, Nebraska.
