Linda S. Luke, 78 of Powell, Tennessee formerly of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in Sacred Ground Hospice House in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Linda was born on November 12, 1946 in Michigan City, Indiana to George Washington Vogeley and Vera Vogeley.  She had been employed as an Avon Manager for many years.  On April 3, 1964 she married Lester “Butch” Luke who preceded her in death on November 26, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Patricia and Cecelia. Linda is survived by two daughters, Donna Walters of South Bend, Indiana, Alexis Marie (Dennis) Lawson of Powell, Tennessee, Angelica Luke of Jackson, Tennessee; two grandsons, Jacob Rogers and Francis Millian both of South bend, Indiana; one great-grandson, Elijah Lawson of Powell, Tennessee; one sister, Evelyn Hatfield of Pinellas Park, Florida; her nieces and nephews, Terri, Gloria, Mike, Charles and George.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana. Burial will follow in New Carlisle Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, South Bend, Indiana.  Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved and cherished them with all of her heart. Memorial Contributions should be directed to the American Legion Post #297, New Carlisle, Indiana.
