Linda J. Lyczynski Obituary

Linda J. Lyczynski, 80, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021 in her home. She was born on March 13, 1941 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Victor and Marie (Parks) Grieger. Linda retired from the South Bend School Corporation, where she was employed from 1994 – 2007. On June 10, 1961, in Our Lady of Hungary Church, she married Joseph A. Lyczynski, who survives. Linda is also survived by two sons, Joseph A. Lyczynski and Brian Lyczynski both of South Bend, Indiana; and her granddaughter, Courtney (Justin) Tschida. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Tyler. A Catholic Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
