Larry H. Omundsen

Larry H. Omundsen, 77, of Niles, MI, passed away at 2:34 a.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN.

He was born on June 26, 1947 to the late Louis George and Kathleen (Balok) Omundsen in Lafayette, IN.

Larry was retired from AM General in Mishawaka, IN, where he worked for 15 years.  Prior to that, he worked at Allied Stamping in South Bend, IN for many years.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Susan (Bryan) Watson of Edwardsburg, MI; a son, Larry Louis Omundsen of Niles, MI; five grandchildren, Keri and Kayla Omundsen; Kelsey Christman; Nicole and Jeffrey Callan; and ten great grandchildren.

Larry enjoyed bowling, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2024 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN.  There will be no services.  Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, South Bend, IN, at a later date.
