Larry A. Williams

Larry Williams, 75, loving husband and family man, passed away suddenly Friday in South Bend. Larry lived in the area for much of his life and married Sharon Marriott on September 7 of 1963. They raised three daughters together: Donna (Ken Edholm), Kim (Tommie Closson) and Cathy (Fred Jimenez). Despite health challenges from an early age Larry worked hard every day of his life, spending many years driving bread routes and as a supervisor. He is survived by Sharon, his sisters Lora, Janice, Judy, and Joni; his brothers Todd and John; and a large loving family including 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Linda and his brother Doug. Larry enjoyed fishing, racing, gambling and anything involving the people he loved. Larry always gave of himself and took great pride in his work ethic. A visitation will be held at Kaniewski Funeral Home in South Bend on Saturday February 2 at 1pm, with a memorial service to follow at 3pm.  A reception at The Calvary Baptist Church at Bendix and Cleveland will follow services.  Contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, or for the family through Kaniewski Funeral Home.
