Kristy M. Sabinas-Rister

Kristy M. Sabinas-Rister, 57, of Bremen, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Monday May 11, 2026 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.  She was born on April 29, 1969, in Great Lakes, IL to Michael and Diane Sabinas, who survive.  Also surviving are her husband, Randy Rister, her son, Riley Hanson of Cassopolis, MI, three step-children, Jessie, Jason and Stephanie Hanson, 11 step-grandchildren and three sisters, Kasey, Kelly and Ann.  Kristy worked as an Inventory Specialist before retiring in 2024.  She enjoyed laughing and being with her family.   A visitation will be held from 10 to 2 p.m. EDT Monday May 18, 2026 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert St., New Carlisle, IN.  Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. EDT, in the funeral home, with burial to conclude in New Carlisle Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  To send online condolences, please visit http://www.kaniewski.com.
