It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kathryn Gene Lane, who peacefully departed this world on January 19, 2025, just days before her 72nd birthday. Born on January 24, 1953, Kathryn lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

Kathryn was the devoted mother of her only daughter, Jenny (Jason) Kazen, and the proud grandmother of her beloved grandchildren, Jaiden Kazen and Javin Kazen, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Christine (Don) Lau, Kimmey (Ken) Kuhn, and Garth Lane Jr. Her nieces and nephews, Jamie Lau, Shaunna Lane, Leah DenAdel, Donny Lau, Garth Lane III, Jeremy Coulam, and Jeffery DenAdel, along with her great-nieces and nephews, held a special place in her heart, and she adored them all deeply.

Kathryn was a proud graduate of Rich East High School, Class of 1971. She dedicated over 25 years of her career to Reith Riley Construction, where she worked in Quality Control. Her diligence, dedication, and strong work ethic earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues.

Kathryn will be remembered for her warm spirit, her love for her family, and the joy she brought to those around her. She was a devoted sister, a proud and loving mother and grandmother, and a treasured friend. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish her memory.

A celebration of Kathryn’s life will be held at a later date, where friends and family can come together to honor her incredible life and the impact she made on everyone who knew her.
