Kathleen M. Sipes

Kathleen (Katsy) M. Sipes, 66, Beloved Wife, Mother, Gramma, Sister, Aunt, and Friend, of New Carlisle, IN, passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2024 in her home.  She was born on August 24, 1958, in New Carlisle, to the late Floyd and Edna Louise (Welch) Flinchum and was a lifelong area resident.  Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers William McKinley, Floyd Flinchum Jr, Joseph Flinchum; sisters Kathy Panos, Bonnie Gall, and Clista Bushman, daughters Mary Sipes and Jennifer Breitzke. Katsy is survived by her adoring husband and soul mate, Raymond Sipes of New Carlisle, her daughters, Candie Quirk of New Carlisle, Karina (Jeremy) Bealor of LaPorte, IN, Carol (Danny) Holmquest of Rolling Prairie, IN and Elizabeth (Jeff) Starkey of LaPorte, her sons, Jason (Leslie) Quirk and Jeffrey Sipes, both of New Carlisle, 24 grandchildren, a sister, Pam (Tom) Martell of New Carlisle and by two brothers, Jim (Deb) Flinchum and John (Kathy) Flinchum, both of New Carlisle, sister in law Jean Flinchum of Laporte, and multiple nieces and nephews.  Katsy loved cooking "viddles" for her family, baking beautiful cakes and cookies, sewing, and spending time with her family, especially craft time with her grandchildren.
