Joyce J. (Jaworski) Lawson

Joyce J. Lawson, 88, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 3:44 p.m. in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN, following a brief illness.

She was born on December 12, 1936 to the late Louis and Eleanor (Buczynski) Jaworski in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong area resident. Along with her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lawson; a son, Barry Lawson; and a brother, Ronald Jaworski.

Joyce worked at Raco, Inc. as a Control Clerk / Assistant Buyer for 37 years.

On July 8, 1961, as Joyce J. Jaworski, she married Roy Lawson in South Bend, IN. Roy passed away on December 21, 1976.

Joyce is survived by her son, Doug Ray (Robert Albitz) Lawson of South Bend, IN; two sisters, Patricia Szymczak of South Bend, IN; Geraldine (Donald) Roeder of Granger, IN; several nieces & nephews; and three fur babies.

Cremation has taken place. Per Joyce’s request, there will be no visitation or service.
