Joyce Divens McCoy

Joyce Divens McCoy, 86, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 in her daughter’s home.  Joyce was born on October 13, 1937 in South Bend to Howard H. and Gladys M. (Parker) Six.  She retired from Burcliff Industries.  Joyce was preceded in death by the father of her five children, Donald Redman; her husband, Jack Divens; one grandson, two great-grandchildren; her son-in-law, Jeff Howey; and her twin sister, Janice Felix.  Joyce is survived by her husband, Chester “Chet” McCoy; five daughters, Pamela (Curtis) Bowering of South Bend, Sharon (Donald) Miller of Granger, Brenda Howey of Cassopolis, Jane (Dale) Grove of Elkhart, and Carolyn (James) Gliszczynski of South Bend; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2024 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana.  Private Graveside services will be held at Highland Cemetery. Joyce was a 1956 graduate of Central High School. She enjoyed going to the casino, rides in her car, and spending time with her five daughters.  Memorial Contributions should be made to Joyce’s family.
