Joseph Frank Piechowiak

Joseph F. Piechowiak, 81, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 peacefully at his home. He was born on January 25, 1944 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Joseph F. and Regina (Leszcz) Piechowiak, Sr. On May 17, 1969 he married Jacqueline Marie Moskwinski who preceded him in death on May 10, 2017. Joseph was also preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Micinski. He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Thomas Markiewicz) Peterson of Granger, Indiana, Jessica (Bradley Ronan) Piechowiak of South Bend, Indiana, one son, Jacob (Sarah O’Hara) Piechowiak of Granger, Indiana, two grandchildren, Abigail and Isabella Peterson and one sister, Gloria Walkowiak of South Bend, Indiana.

Joseph was a veteran of The United States Air Force. He was an avid Chicago White Sox and Notre Dame fan. Joe loved spending time at the lake house with family, golfing, working out at the gym and spending time with friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN.
