John Edward Gluchowski

John Edward Gluchowski, 83, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born on August 10, 1942 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Stanley and Henrietta (Malicki) Gluchowski. John was also preceded in death by one daughter, Tina Craig and one brother, Thomas Gluchowski. He is survived by two sons, John (Sandra) Gluchowski of Florida and Mark (Debora) Gluchowski of Osceola, Indiana, six grandchildren, Joshua (Dee) Kosik, Brandon (Codie) Gluchowski, Ryan Gluchowski, Jacob (Claire) Gluchowski, Tanner Craig and Morgann Carlo, and six great-grandchildren.

John was a United States Army Veteran. He was an avid outdoorsman. John enjoyed his time spent with his grandchildren target shooting.

A visitation for John will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
