Jody O. Thorla, 53, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in Healthwin Specialized Care. Jody was born on September 17, 1970 in Zanesville, Ohio to David W. and Victoria L. (Smith) Thorla. His parents both preceded him in death. Jody was a self-employed, owning a picture framing business. He was very active in community theatre, before his health issues. Mainly at South Bend Civic Theatre, but also at Elkhart Civic Theatre. To honor Jody’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
