Joan F. (Jackson) Strozewski

Joan F. Strozewski, 75, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2020 in her home, following a long battle with cancer. 

She was born on May 3, 1944 to the late John F. and Florence (Kreiling) Jackson in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident. Along with her parents; she was preceded in death by a brother, George Jackson. 

Joan graduated in 1962 from New Carlisle High School.  She retired in 2012 from JKR Transport, Inc. in South Bend, IN, where she worked as a Secretary for 15 years.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Roth of Mishawaka, IN; her son, Jeff Strozewski of Noblesville, IN; four grandchildren, Cody Roth, Brianna Roth, Jacalyn Strozewski; and Lauren Strozewski; one sister, Lois (Herb) Strasser of South Bend, IN; and one brother, James Jackson of South Bend, IN.

Joan attended Emmanuel Bible Baptist Church in Niles, MI.  She enjoyed the holidays and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2020 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2020 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, with Pastor Brad Lomax officiating.
