Joan E. Pauley Obituary

Joan E. Pauley, 86, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 3:18 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2023 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

She was born on February 22, 1936 to the late Glenn and Esther (Meadway) Pauley in Buffalo, NY, and has lived in South Bend since 1981. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Pauley.

Joan was a retired Registered Nurse.

Joan is survived by her two daughters, Rosemary (Ronald Missel) Sosnowski of Olean, NY; Bonny Stanage of Niles, MI; two sons, Richard (Christine) Sosnowski of Portville, NY; John (Juan Evans) Sosnowski of Spotsylvania, VA; five grandchildren, Christopher Sosnowski, Nicolas and Stephani Sosnowski, Alex and Aaron Stanage; two great grandchildren, Jack Sosnowski and Ellie Sosnowski; one brother, Glenn (Joanne) Pauley of Elkhart, IN; and a sister-in-law, Sam Pauley of Grand Island, NY.

A Private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
