Jean Ellen Frank

Jean Ellen Frank, 72, of Granger, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 She was born on May 16, 1952 in Galien, Michigan to the late Gaylord “Bud” and Bernice (Strauss) Marsh. On July 23, 2002 she married Gary L. Frank who survives. Jean is also survived by two sons, Trent M. (Amber) Babcock, Niles, MI. and Kirk E. (Bethany Thompson) Babcock of Roanoke, VA , five grandchildren, Julia, Lincoln, Jenna, Ava and Laura, two sisters, Nancy Foster and Janet (Bob) Franklin both of Buchanan. She will be greatly missed by her Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Cola.

She had a reputation for being a caring, considerate, fun-loving soul who had impeccable taste, and was a magnificent friend to so many.  Known for perfect hair, nails and dress attire as well as her baking and decorating skills both in the kitchen and to her very clean home.  She especially loved all of her grandchildren following them in school activities and sports. Over the last several years has enjoyed reconnecting with her high school friends. Most of all there was a true love for her husband and boating activities during the summer months. 

A visitation for Jean will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 12:00 with visitation for one hour prior to the service. Private burial will take place in Galien Township Cemetery.
