Jason Flagg Obituary

At the age of 50, Jason Flagg passed away peacefully in his Mill Creek home after a battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the love of his wife and mother.

A devoted father, husband, coach, and friend, Jason lived a life defined by passion, generosity, and unwavering dedication to the people he cared about most.

Jason found his greatest joy in watching his children, Jayden and Braydon play sports. Whether cheering from the sidelines or shooting hoops with his kids in the barn, out in yard catching or pitching balls. He was their biggest supporter and constant source of strength and encouragement. His love for sports extended far beyond his own family—Jason was an inspiring basketball coach whose influence reached countless young athletes in the New Prairie community. Through his guidance, leadership, and belief in every player, he helped shape not only their skills but also their confidence and love for the sport.

Family was at the heart of everything Jason did. He cherished moments together around the campfire, playing bags, watching sports, going to the newest Star Wars and Marvel movies. Though a true competitor, he carried a calm, easygoing presence.

When he wasn’t on a court, field or with his family, Jason enjoyed spending peaceful hours on the golf course with his friends, especially at “the Pines”.. Golf gave him time to reflect, recharge, and appreciate the simple joys of life with the people he loved.

Jason leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and service. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, players, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Jason is survived by his wife (high school sweetheart of 26 years) Brandee Flagg, his mother Suzanne Flagg, daughter Jayden Flagg, In laws, Martin and Vicky Mosson, John Sinka.  Sister-in-law Angela and Bill Warner, Scott and Jessica Sinka, nieces and nephews, Kylie Briner, Evan Warner, Brock, Carson and Mason Sinka, and Morgan and Lauren Flagg as well as a number of aunts , uncles and cousins.
