Jason Paul Barkley

With heavy hearts we share the news of the passing of our beloved Jason Paul Barkley on Friday, December 26, 2025 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born on April 16, 1986 to Ron and Cindy (Meszaros) Barkley. Jason was preceded in death by his mother Cindy. He is survived by his son Noah Barkley, longtime companion, Ashley Hess of South Bend Indiana, father Ron Barkley of South Bend, Indiana, brother, Keith Barkley of Battle Creek, Michigan,  nephew, Talen Barkley. 

Jason had a beautiful soul. He was so kind to others and and brought so much joy and happiness to everyone. He loved being outdoors. Walks in the park, disc golfing, fishing, cooking and doing goofy things to make everyone laugh. He had so many friends and family members as well as many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly and he will be forever in our hearts.  

His mother Cindy has her angel wings opened to hold her son as he arrived at the gates of heaven. No more tears, pain or heartbreak only peace and joy for eternity.

A visitation for Jason will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. A Catholic service will be held at 6:00 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jason’s honor can be made to his precious son who he cherished  Noah Orion Barkley. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Noah Barkley at Everwise Credit Union.
