Gustavo Jaramillo

Gustavo Jaramillo, 41, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. He was born on March 12, 1980 in Los Angeles, California to Gerardo and Veronica (Aguilar) Jaramillo. His mother preceded him in death. He married Arely Arevalo who survives. Gustavo is also survived by two daughters, Samantha (Savion Moore) Jaramillo of South Bend, Indiana, Yezabella Jaramillo of South Bend, Indiana, his dog “Spike,” his cat “Tom,” and his best friends, Eddie and Freddie.

Gustavo worked for Advantage Installations for twelve years as a contractor. He was always the life of the party. Gustavo loved celebrating life and being with family and friends every chance he got. He always made sure to take care of everyone's needs before himself. He could always bring a smile to anyone’s face no matter what kind of day they were having. He will be greatly missed by all. 

A visitation for Gustavo will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend, IN from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 30, 2021in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, 2310 E. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, IN 46615.
