Gordon (Gordy) J. Langner

South Bend, In – Gordon (Gordy) J. Langner, 90, passed away on November 6, 2023. Gordy was born on March 23, 1933 in South Bend, Ind. to the late Anthony and Bertha (Chavis) Langner. After high school, he joined the US Army and found himself serving in Germany. Once he returned to South Bend he met and married his wife of 60+ years Roberta (Bobbie) Klota on April 25, 1959. He worked on the Indiana Toll Road for 34 years until he retired. Gordy enjoyed fishing, hunting for morel mushrooms, Studebaker cars and tending to his flower filled yard. Gordy had a smile for everyone he met and made friends with all. He will be sorely missed by everyone. He is survived by his sons Gordon David of South Bend, Steven (Amy) of Mishawaka, and brother Daniel (Cindy) Langner of Hilton, NY. Proceeding him death was his brother and sister in law Bernard and Susan Langner of Interlaken NY. Viewing will be at 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 12:00 on November 16, 2023 at Christ the King Catholic Church 52473 State Hwy 933 South Bend IN.
