Geraldine J. Bukowski

Geraldine J. Bukowski, 89, of Aurora, CO, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 in her home.

She was born on August 24, 1934 to the late Joseph and Veronica (Slaby) Bukowski in South Bend, IN, and has lived in Aurora, CO most of her life.

Gerri graduated from South Bend Catholic High School before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force, where she served her country from March, 1959 to March, 1962.

She retired on June 3, 1988 from the U.S. Department of Defense, where she worked as a Computer Programmer Analyst for the U.S. Air Force for 29 years.

Gerri is survived by six first cousins and many other cousins.

She was a member of St. Adalbert Parish in South Bend.  Family was very important to her.  Gerri enjoyed researching her ancestry and preparing family tree booklets.  She wanted to do something for the family and it was her legacy to them.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 2505 W. Grace Street, South Bend, IN, where friends and family may visit one hour prior to the mass.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, IN, where Military Services will take place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Adalbert Catholic Church.
