George Lee Peacock

George Lee Peacock, 76, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 12:45 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024 in the Raclin House.  George was born on September 17, 1947 in Galien, Michigan to James and Gladys (Eisenhart) Peacock.  He had been employed as a Welder for Allied.  He is survived by his longtime companion, Patty-Ellen Andrews of South Bend, Indiana; his son George (Alicia) Peacock of Defiance, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kalene, Tracy, Gage and Gracelynn Peacock; three sisters, Irma Fairchild, Carol Abbiehl and Mary Keller; and three brothers, Robert (Pam) Peacock, Jess Peacock, and Eugene (Kim) Peacock. A Catholic Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2024 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana.  A visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home.  George was a member of ABATE Indiana, Clay Social Club and the American Legion. He enjoyed riding his Harley.
