Gabriel Isaiah Franco

Gabriel Isaiah Franco, 44, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026. He was born on February 15, 1982 in Hammond, Indiana to Raymond Z. and Susan M. (Guzman) Franco. Gabriel is survived by both his parents, two children, Greyson and Daxson Franco, one brother, Isaac Z. Franco and many aunts and uncles.

After high school, Gabriel attended Vincennes University and Purdue University. Gabriel worked as an Insulator for Local #75. He was a loving father to his children. He had a passion for baseball and coached his kids’ teams. Gabriel was a very respectful loving son to his parents and his brother Isaac. He will be greatly missed by his family.  

A visitation for Gabriel will be held on Sunday August 2, 2026at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN 12:00 pm EDT until 8:00 pm EDT. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm EDT in the funeral home. Gabriel will be laid to rest at St. John’s Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana at a later date.
