Eugene B. Trzybinski

Eugene B. Trzybinski, 85, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Sunday at StoryPoint Assisted Living Facility in Granger, IN.  He was born on December 26, 1938, in South Bend, to the late Blase and Regina (Grocki) Trzybinski.  On September 18, 1965 he married Carol Maggart, who preceded him in death on August 31, 2020.  He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Trzybinski, Irene Ison and by four brothers-in-law, Wayne Ison, Ben Sobecki, Ron Gerencher and Gary Slock.  Gene is survived by three children, Richard (Tricia) Trzybinski of Loveland, OH, Robert (Alicia) Trzybinski of Westfield, IN, and Julie (Jason) McLellan of Wayland, MI, twelve grandchildren; Jacob (Tommy) Miamisburg, OH,  Colleen of Chicago, IL and Grace Trzybinski of Loveland, OH, Conor (MaryRita) of Stephens City, VA, Donovan, Sean, Claire, Brendan, Bridget and Kathleen Trzybinski of Westfield, IN and Sara and Ian McLellan of Wayland, MI and by great granddaughter Evangeline Trzybinski and sibling on way of Stephens City, VA and by three sisters; Valentina Sobecki and Marie Gerencher, both of South Bend and Jane Slock of Mishawaka, IN.  He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the American Post #357 in South Bend.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Friday July 12, 2024 at Little Flower Catholic Church, South Bend, where friends may visit for one hour prior to the Mass.  Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN  46545.
