Dorothy T. (Wrobleski) Wolkiewicz

Dorothy T. (Wrobleski) Wolkiewicz, 96, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 1:45 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Tanglewood Trace Senior Living.  Dorothy was born on May 2, 1929 in New Carlisle, Indiana to Enoch and Agnes (Rybicki) Wrobleski.  She retired in 1995 from St. Joseph Regional Medical Center where she was employed from 1966 – 1995 as a Benefit and Compensation Coordinator in Human Resources.  On June 30, 1951, in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, New Carlisle, Indiana, she married Clem Wolkiewicz, who preceded her in death on June 1, 1990.  Dorothy was also preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Adriana Wolkiewicz; 2 sisters and 5 brothers.  She is survived by two sons, Michael Wolkiewicz of South Bend, Indiana and Jeffery (Beth) Wolkiewicz of Granger, Indiana; three grandchildren, Robin (Joshua) Wolkiewicz, Nicholas Wolkiewicz and Shannon (Chasati) Wolkiewicz; two great-grandchildren, Zach and Evie; and her sister Henrietta Grauel of South Bend, Indiana.  A Catholic Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2026 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana. Entombment will follow in Riverview Cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.  Dorothy was a 1948 graduate of New Carlisle High School.  She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish. She enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, sewing and collecting little bells and Mickey Mouse memorabilia.  Memorial Contributions should be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project or Corpus Christi Church.
