Donald A. Cowgill

Donald A. Cowgill, 64, of New Carlisle, passed away on Thursday in his home.  He was born on May 3, 1956, in Michigan City, IN, to the late David and Joan (Rabideau) Cowgill.  He is survived by his wife, Linda (Truhn) Cowgill; his sons; William (Lorie) Cowgill of New Carlisle and Joey of South Bend; one grandchild, Kamron Cowgill of New Carlisle; two sisters, Debra (Miles) Fisher of NJ and Dee (Spiros) Papiaoannou of FL; a brother, Daniel (Becky) Cowgill of FL; nieces and nephews; Katie and Kyle of Indianapolis, Rachelle of LaPorte, Daniel and Philip of FL; and Linda's loving family (Truhns, Mensingers and Blackmores.  He was preceded in death by a brother, David Cowgill II and a niece, Tammy.  Don served in the USMC, loved working on our farm and enjoyed country living.  He also enjoyed breeding and raising Australian Shepherds and Siberian Husky's.  He was very good at making work seem to be more joyful and not like work.  A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to Center for Hospice Care and flowers and memorials may be sent directly to the family.  To send online condolences, please visit www.kaniewski.com.
