Donald G. Wisner, Jr., 39, of South Bend, Indiana was called to eternal rest on Thursday, June 1, 2023. Donald is survived by his wife Rebecca Wisner of South Bend, Indiana, son, Jasper Wisner of South Bend, Indiana, his mother, Bonnie Pufall of Cookeville, Tennessee, his father figure Jaymes Collard of Niles, Michigan, his sister, Rachele (Jefferson) West of Cookeville, Tennessee, his brother Adam Collard of Berrien Springs, Michigan, and his grandmother, Daylene Pufall of Niles, Michigan as well as many other family and friends. Donald was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Leo Pufall.
Don was a man of many talents with most being self-taught but all executed to perfection. He loved everything outdoors – the beauty of nature, hiking, fishing, biking, sunsets and especially took great pride in taking care of his lawn often throwing ‘stripes’ at others in friendly neighborhood banter. Don loved his family very much and made it known that his son was his greatest accomplishment. He loved family time spent together cooking, drawing, watching movies, playing video games, doing anything outdoors and all holiday gatherings. Anyone who was a friend of Don will always remember his caring personality and those memories of how he made an impact on their life.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN.
