Dolores R. Bilski

Dolores R. Bilski, 97, of South Bend, passed away on Friday September 3, 2021 at Wellbrooke of South Bend.  She was born on August 6, 1924 to the late Zygmunt and Helen (Kwiatkowski) Zebrowski.  On July 5, 1947, as Dolores Zebrowski, she married Ted Bilski, who preceded her in death on January 25, 1974.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Bilski on October 14, 2017, a son-in-law, James Paulson and by a sister, Maxine Madrzykowski.  Dolores is survived by her daughters; Sharon (Kenneth) Cichowicz of South Bend and Judith Paulson of Mesa, AZ; four grandchildren; Laura (Jason) Barrett, Jason (Elizabeth) Cichowicz, Michael Paulson and Brent Bilski; and by five great-grandchildren; Madison and Taylor Barrett, Emma and Evan Cichowicz and Skyla Bilski.  She worked in the Baking Department at LaSalle High School for 18 years, before retiring.  Mrs. Bilski was a Parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church, South Bend and was very proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with them whenever possible.  She also enjoyed watching Notre Dame football on TV and going to her daughter's homes for Sunday dinners.  She loved baking and was known for her apple and cherry pie squares.  A visitation will be held on Thursday September 9, 2021 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home Chapel, 3545 N.
