Deborah J. Folger Gondocs, 67, of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in her home. Deborah was born on July 17, 1957 in Goshen, Indiana to Arthur and Hesper (Walker) Folger. She retired as a Telephone Operator at AT&T after 20 years of service. Deborah is survived by her daughter, Corrinne (Michael) Binkley of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; three sons, Robert (Vonnie) Burelison of Portage, Indiana, David Gondocs of New Carlisle, Indiana and Joe (Katie) Gondocs of South Bend, Indiana; her adopted daughter, Janelle (Tyler) Bradford of Angola, Indiana; six grandchildren, Tristan Burelison, Kayleigh Burelison, Anabell Binkley, Amari Burelison, Charlotte Binkley and Lauren Gondocs; her brother, Bob (Jeanine) Folger of Magnolia, Texas; her life partner and former husband, Dave Gondocs; and by many special nieces, nephews, and adopted children and grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2025 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert Street, New Carlisle, Indiana. Burial will follow in New Carlisle Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday and from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Deborah was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader and Scout Master for many years in New Carlisle. She was also a camp nurse for the Boy Scouts and her church camp for many years. Deborah was awarded the Presidential Award from AT&T for saving a woman’s life. She was a guest performer for the Morman Tabernacle Choir where she shared her joy of singing. Deborah was an amazing cook who always had her door open for anyone. She loved to decorate cakes. Deborah was an animal lover. She also loved flowers and always had some in her home as well as a beautifully landscaped yard. Deborah was an amazing Mammi to her grandchildren. Memorial Contributions should be directed to the Community of Christ in Galien, Michigan.
