David Joseph Strebinger

David Joseph Strebinger, 74, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. He was born on January 5, 1952 in South Bend, Indiana too the late Robert and Marilyn (Bill) Strebinger. On November 25, 1972 he married Patricia Sue Latowski who survives. David is also survived by two sons, Thomas Strebinger of Chicago, Illinois and Bryan (Wendy Mills) Strebinger of South Bend, Indiana, nine grandchildren; Sam, Aubrey, Shea, Layla, Austyn, Isa, Bel, Alani and Dante, two sisters, Marcia (Ed) McMillen of Granger, Indiana, Sharon Strebinger of South Bend, Indiana, two brothers, Paul Strebinger of South Bend, Indiana, Kevin (Kaye) Strebinger of South Bend, Indiana, one sister-in-law, Jenny Klinker, one brother-in-law, Bob Heminger and many nieces and nephews. David was also preceded in death by siblings, Annette Heminger, James Strebinger, Brian Strebinger, Mark Strebinger, Carol James and one infant brother John Strebinger.

David served for his country in the United States Navy. He loved his family, Christmas and bowling. He loved to especially “humor” his family at Halloween.

No services are being held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Food Bank in David’s honor or The Center for the Homeless in South Bend.
