Daniel A. Kopczynski (Jr.)

Daniel A. Kopczynski (Jr.), 44, of South Bend, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 27, 2022 in his home.

He was born on August 19, 1978 to Daniel J. (Sr.) and Celeste M. (Czajkowski) Kopczynski in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong area resident.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Celeste M. Kopczynski.

Dan graduated in 1996 from Washington High School in South Bend.  He currently was employed with the Foundry Apartments, Notre Dame, IN, where he worked in maintenance.

He is survived by his two daughters, Tynder Kopczynski of Bloomington, IN and Taylor Kopczynski of New Carlisle, IN; his father, Daniel J. Kopczynski (Sr.) of South Bend, IN; and one sister, Taracha (Jose) Navarro of South Bend, IN.

Dan enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and watching both the Miami Hurricanes and USC Trojans football games.  He also loved coaching and watching his daughters play softball.

He was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. He will be forever missed by those who knew him best. Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN.  There will be no services.  Cremation will follow.
