Connie L. Delker

Connie L. Delker, 74, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 in her home.

She was born on September 29, 1949 to the late Thomas C. and Catherine (Haney) Delker in South Bend, IN, and has lived in Ohio, Missouri, and California, before returning to South Bend.

Connie graduated in 1967 from St. Joseph High School in South Bend.  She then attended the University of Dayton, where she graduated in 1971.  Connie later received her Master’s Degree from Ohio State University.

She worked for the U.S. Department of Defense, where she was employed as a Budget Analyst for many years.

Connie is survived by her sister, Mary Kay (Dan) Loney of Fort Wayne, IN; her brother, Edward F. Delker of Wentzville, MO; and five nieces & nephews. 

Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN.  A Catholic Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
